Zoe Natale Mannella (b.1997) is an Italian-British photographer living and working between Milan and Paris. Self-taught, she has developed a distinctive aesthetic that blends reportage with staged settings, exploring themes of female intimacy and sexuality through a gaze that is both sharp and authentic. With a background in fashion photography, she reinterprets its visual codes to deconstruct gender stereotypes and offer a counter-narrative of the female experience.

Among her most significant works, Underwater stands out as an intimate and political project that redefines the representation of the naked body—removing it from the realm of desire and restoring its natural, suspended, and judgment-free presence. In 2021, she exhibited at Futures – New Narratives in Photography at CAMERA – Italian Center for Photography in Turin, and she collaborates with publications such as Purple, i-D, and Vogue Italia.

That same year, she was featured in the Sky Arte documentary Le Fotografe.
